i love beirut so much. i listened to them during a period when i was so deeply sad and yet i still go back to the music and find it triumphant and melancholic--that time of my life didn't ruin the music for me--which speaks more to the music than anything else. does that make sense?
Carmella & Belen: I know, aren't they great?! I wish he had blown into that conch shell thingie he was carrying though, kept waiting for it and it never happened.
